Much better than yours
Dear visitor,
I've decided to create my personal blog after so much hipe arroung blogs.
I had this intention for quite some time, but it stayed behind in my huge list of tasks.
My goal is to reach an average of 500 visitors per day in a 6 month period, with both the english version and the portuguese version you can find here. Actually, the portuguese version born is 20 days older than the portuguese version.
These blogs won't have exactly the same content, since in the portuguese blog I'll write about local issues in Madeira, that really don't say much to a global audience. Some local issues might be interesting to post in English, specially when they talk about the need of democracy, freedom of speach and governance. In Madeira we are still ten steps behind in terms of democracy.
But most posts are relevant to a global audience, since I will talk about politics, international issues, sports namely paragliding, fun, news, internet, computers, software, environment and vacations.
Since I'm a software engineer, web blogs are specially interesting to me. They are also interesting because I'm a politician and I enjoy sharing my views and join the "change the world" movement.
I've chosen a appealing name "Much better than yours", because my goal is that my blog is better than yours. It's a demanding goal...
